Massage For Couples

Massage For Couples

Remember how it was when you first met and were getting to know each other? Non-sexual touch played a huge part in the bonding of your relationship. Holding hands, a cuddle, a touch in passing or an arm around a shoulder were all part of natural everyday communication.

The adventure of building a life together begins…and in the process, work and responsibilities begin to infringe on our quiet time, our peaceful time, our time together. Our busy lifestyles leave us very little time for ourselves let alone for each other. This can lead to a loss of connection and feelings of isolation.

Research shows that Touch is an important component of a healthy relationship. Incorporating more non-sexual touch in a relationship increases levels of connection enhances well-being and promotes feelings of being loved and cherished.

Learning the art of Massage with your partner gives you the opportunity to spend quality time together, learning and sharing a new skill with each other – a new skill that will help you ignite deeper levels of communication, expression and connection between both of you.

The Wonder of Touch

“Touch is one of the most powerful of all healing modalities in any form it takes, from a handshake to a hug to a full-body massage. There is the effect of exchanging energy, of course, but even more important is the way in which touch serves as the bridge between beings. In a world where ideas of separation have such great influence, touch becomes the surest way of making connections. A healing touch empowered by love and compassion becomes a means of a greater awareness and a source of joy for the reacher and the reached.”
